Customer Brief:

Warmco installed an energy efficient workshop heating system for Hydrasun Ltd in April 2023. We were asked to install two EH30 Electric Warmco electric space heaters alongside three Winterwarm WCU60 heat recovery fans into these newly renovated, 12,000 sq ft premises.

Features of the Heating System:

This customer invited us to install two electric EH30, suspended, warm air heaters into areas of these new premises which they were converting into workshop and warehouse areas. The EH30 heater has a maximum heat output of 30kw, which can be used to get the area up to temperature. However, once this has been achieved, it can modulate its heat output down to 10kw. This modulation feature offers a typical fuel cost saving of up to 30% compared to standard non-modulating heaters. These heaters were chosen to heat this 12,000 sq ft (24ft x 30ft) space to 20c, when the outside temperature was as low as minus 3c. We also installed three WCU60 de-stratification fans. These can push down 5,600 metres cubed of warm air per hour, which would otherwise gather in the top of the building. The addition of fans can offer an additional fuel cost saving of up to 30%. This workshop heating project was completed in just three days. During this time our engineers worked hard not to disturb to our valued customer.
