Customer Brief:
Our customer needed heating in these warehouse premises to protect the stock from becoming damp, and also to keep their employees warm. Warmco suspended our Warmco / Winterwarm XR30 heater to offer efficient heat distribution, that would take the temperature inside the building up to 20 degrees Celsius, when it falls to minus one outside.
Features of the Heating System:
As these premises had no access to natural gas and had limited space to use a bulk supply of propane, we installed this Warmco / Winterwarm XR30 suspended heater into this 5,000 sq.ft. warehouse space, using four 47kg bottles of propane, in August 2020. The XR30 heater comes with a modulation feature as standard, which allows it to heat up the space at full 30kw capacity, then once the space is up to temperature, the heater switches to 19kw low fire. This facility typically offers up to 30% saving on fuel costs. The use of two WCU40 heat recovery fans, pushes the heat naturally accumulating at higher levels within the seven-metre-high apex, back down into the building. Again, this can offer a fuel saving of up to 30% to the end user. Warmco installed this heater on one day, to create as little disruption to the customer as is possible.
