Customer Brief:
In March 2021 this customer approached us to replace five of the existing NVX140 Powrmatic gas suspended unit heaters, within this 100,000 sq. ft. space which were faulty. We suspended two of our Warmco / Winterwarm HR120 condensing heaters within the factory area and the other three heaters were suspended at a height of 8m-9m, above the stored insulation products.

Features of the Heating System:
We specified a heating system with room sealed flues, which burn clean air from outside the building. This avoids contaminants being burned which, in an environment with contaminated air, allows the lifespan of the heaters to be extended. Additionally the Winterwarm HR120 heater comes with a robust stainless steel heat exchanger, which also extends the life of the heater and allows us to offer a ten year warranty. The heater comes with a modulation feature as standard, which allows it to initially heat up the space at full 115kw capacity, then once the space is up to temperature, the heater switches to 37kw on low fire. The heater is 105% net efficient, with the modulation feature typically offering a saving of up to 30% on fuel costs compared to a non-modulating heater.
